BEAT THE DEADLINE! SUBMISSIONS FOR RED BULL ILLUME CLOSE ON FEBRUARY 28, 2010

The deadline for Red Bull Illume, the world’s premier action and adventure sports photography competition, is fast approaching. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to enter their thrilling photos via the official website www.redbullillume.com before February 28, 2010.

Red Bull Illume 2010 is attracting a huge amount of entries from the freesports photography scene. To date, over 5,000 images have been submitted by nearly 2,500 photographers.

Prizes include a Leica S2 camera and lenses to the value of €30,000 for the overall winner. Entry is free and copyrights for the submitted images remain with the photographer.

The ten categories for the 2010 Image Quest are culture, playground, energy, spirit, close up, wings, SanDisk sequence, new creativity, experimental and illumination.
