Hey Everyone…
Well Since the last update I’m now officially going to the Olympics, actually as I write this I’m sitting on the plane from Mexico to Vancouver..
Moving into the Olympic Village tomorrow! The last few weeks have been a total blast, with only a couple of downfalls! We competed at Blue Mountain in Canada, which was a pretty mellow course, none the least still sweet before driving 10hours to Lake Placid USA… Yes we did get lost for a good few hours.. men with maps haha! Must admit the signs weren’t to helpful when all they said was North, South, East & West.. I don’t think they believe in naming streets! There were many very hick towns in the middle of no where with Amish people horse carting around!

Well Lake Placid was an experience, I qualified 13th which was the best I have all year, but watching everyone ski down was scary to say the least, men & woman caseing things crashing, & even the best injuring themselves trying to figure out how to ski the course, I felt it was borderline for one person to be running the course let alone 4 of us….
It was a hard decision as I felt I was going well that there was just no point risking anything at this stage of the season…! I was up most of the night & had a sick feeling something was not right so pulled myself just before start…… I could have done very well but a few hours later we had 4 broken hips, one man pissing blood & a lot of broken ribs.. a few girls with blown knees & last but not least a ripper off the French man is in still in Hospital on a breathing machine with no feeling from neck down : ( (we all have our fingers & toes crossed! )
So although the tough decision at least I’m still walking, I’m feeling great & in one peace for Vancouver!! BRING IT ON!!
Other than that I can’t complain we spent a few days cutting loose in New York city… doing everything a tourist should, like the Empire State Building, Central park, Ground Zero, creating havoc on the human piano in the worlds largest toy store.. and hoooning round on the underground subs! Wicked city!
Moved on to Niagara Falls, which was stunning to say the least, then have spent the last week beaching it up in Cancun Mexico… So Tough, it was 28 degrees sailing around the Ocean in a catamaran, snorkeling and just rocking the tropics…. Absolutely AWSOME!!!

Anyway that’s enough from me, I hope everyone’s summer is going well, and really looking forward to seeing all friends & family coming to Vancouver next week!!
