Domex have been producing sleeping bags specifically designed for New Zealand conditions since 1979.

“We have wanted to add high quality sleeping bags to our range of outdoor products for some time but the overseas brands we looked at did not cover the full range of New Zealand conditions” says Nikki Goodall, General Manager of Tight Lines Ltd. “New Zealand is an outdoor nation and Kiwis need a sleeping bag range that covers activities from backyard camping to snow caving on Mount Cook.

“We were thrilled when the Domex brand became available, because we knew that Domex have sleeping bags that are designed specifically to cover the full spectrum of New Zealand conditions.”

Nikki knows that there are many satisfied New Zealanders who have been using Domex sleeping bags for a long time. She too grew up with a Domex sleeping bag.

“We will continue the Domex philosophy of designing quality products with features that New Zealanders want at affordable prices. We are excited about restoring Domex sleeping bags to the forefront of the New Zealand market.”

Tight Lines is a family company based in Napier that has been distributing high quality outdoor and fishing products to retail outlets throughout New Zealand for 27 years.

“Domex fits in perfectly with our other brands such as LED Lenser lights, Leatherman multi-tools and Tatonka packs – all are high quality products backed by comprehensive warranties.”

All Domex sleeping bags come with a five year warranty.

Domex sleeping bags are available from leading outdoor, hunting and sporting goods retailers throughout New Zealand. The new extended range will be available from Spring 2012.
