GEAR-UP Marmot Featherless Hoody

New to Marmot, this insulated jacket is filled with 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation that provides an extremely lightweight, water-resistant alternative to the “down” jacket.  It is scientifically designed to replace natural down with the warmth of 700 fill power down. It looks, acts and feels like down but works even when it’s wet.

This jacket has a very slim-fit flattering design, which offers protection against the elements without the usual bulk associated with insulated jackets. The outer fabric is made from 100% Nylon Double Mini Rip 1.0 oz/ yd and is super soft and comfortable to wear without the scratchy plasticy feel of some alternatives.

The wrists and hood have slightly elasticated bindings, helping to keep them in place for a snug fit and the hem has an elastic draw cord that allows you to tighten or release as needed. The attached hood that is also insulated, providing excellent coverage for ears and neck and it zips up high to give plenty of coverage for the neck and chin.

One of the things that makes this jacket so comfortable to wear is the mobile underarm design. The Angel-Wing Movement™ design allows for perfect mobility and comfort it is the perfect length to provide warmth while still allowing for optimal manoeuvrability.

To top it all off, this jacket tucks into its own zippered pockets making for excellent storage solution.
