Running the Matterhorn Ridge with Kilian Jornet
To record this video, mountain runner Kilian Jornet strapped a GoPro to his helmet while moving fast along the Matterhorn Ridge. The trail itself isn’t much more than a meter wide, with a seriously precipitous drop both sides. That could make the clip not for the faint of heart, but it does put into perspective just how massive the Matterhorn is and how scary it can be.
