The Reef Beneath

Directed by Justin Turkowski and Belinda Baggs, The Reef Beneath is a film about the impact our choices have on the future of the Great Barrier Reef

Connected by a shared passion for the ocean, Belinda Baggs, Kimi Werner and Wayne Lynch embarked on a sailing journey along Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Together they explored the reef and experienced personally how something as vast and wonderful as the Great Barrier Reef can at the same time be entirely vulnerable, realising as they sailed and swam that time is fast running out to save it.

The Reef Beneath release supports Patagonia 1% for the Planet grantee, Australia Marine Conservation Society and brings awareness to the Fight Our Reef campaign to urge Prime Minister Turnbull to stop the Adani coal mine project.
