If you can mountain bike, walk (or run) and use a map and compass then this is the event for you! Bought to you by the organisers of the successful Big Bang Adventure Race, the Dirt Duathlon is a 3-4hr adventure race series over winter.
Teams of 2, 3 or 4 can enter 1,2 or all 3 of the events in the series.
Event director Carrie Yaxley says, “We have been looking into doing another event for a while now and finally the time has come. It’s a real shame we have coincided with the pandemic but also believe this is a great reason to forge on, lets give the people something to look forward to”
The event covers the Wellington / Horowhenua Region from June to August.
“To be honest” Yaxley says “we are most looking forward to the night event in Kapiti. How cool to compete in an event in the dark, just rug up and join us and bike and hike in the day and the night!”
