Once again, a daredevil seeking thrills has met a tragic end while attempting to boost his social media presence. The trend of such reckless behavior resulting in unnecessary deaths is becoming alarmingly prevalent this year.
Remi Lucidi, a 30-year-old adventurer known as ‘Remi Enigma’ in the online world, tragically lost his life in Hong Kong. He had a history of scaling various tall structures across the globe, ranging from buildings to more obscure sites like cranes, bridges, pylons, and transmitters.
Lucidi’s final climb took him to the 68th floor of the towering 721-foot Tregunter Tower in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, he fell to his death before any assistance could reach him. Earlier, he was spotted by a maid attempting to get back inside the building by knocking on the windows of the penthouse.

On the day of the incident, Lucidi had arrived at the tower at 7:30 pm, claiming to visit a friend on the 40th floor. However, the alleged resident denied any knowledge of the daredevil, revealing it was a ruse for Lucidi to bypass security measures.
CCTV footage captured Lucidi exiting the elevator on the 49th floor before ascending the stairs to the rooftop on the 68th level. Despite the door to the rooftop being locked, his determination led him to force it open, presumably to capture another daring photograph.
It wasn’t until later that his lifeless body was discovered on the ground. Police found his sports camera, containing videos showcasing the extreme sports he had been engaged in before the tragic incident, according to the South China Morning Post.
