Alex Honnold’s Nose Speed Record on El Capitan falls to Nick Ehman by more than an hour ????

NEWS ????

On Tuesday, October 10, there was a remarkable achievement on the Nose route previously set by Alex Honnold in 2010. The new record, set by Nick Ehman, surpassed Honnold’s time of 5 hours and 50 minutes, taking only 4 hours and 39 minutes to complete the climb. It’s noteworthy that while Honnold utilized the King Swing technique, Ehman opted for the Jardine Traverse. Both climbers employed a combination of aid and free climbing methods during their ascent.
