An ode to those that feel the magnetic pull of winter.
Watch Roland Morley-Brown spin, pop & float his way through the mountains of New Zealand, Austria, and Italy in harmony with the rhythmic tunes of Australian singer-songwriter Tash Sultana’s single ‘Blackbird’, from her 2018 album Flow State.
Roland Morley-Brown has been chasing the endless winter for over a decade. This film is a passion (and pow) project of RMB’s – showcasing his desire to keep progressing, exploring new areas and continue chasing the snow. Filmed in the Pisa Range of Otago, the south-eastern region on New Zealand’s South Island, and Zillertal, a valley in Tyrol, Austria – The Migration showcases freeride bliss – big days of hiking for lines, backcountry booters, big air, and natural flow in wild landscapes.
Featuring Roland Morley-Brown and riders Grant Giller, Wolfgang Nyvelt, Stefan Gruber and Maria Kuzma.
Film: Mark Ruparelia, Heath Patterson and Jason Morice
