A Himalayan fly fishing adventure is the focus of a new video from Yellow Dog.
From Yellow Dog:
“One of the most expeditious and exploratory Yellow Dog trips to date, the team embarks to the Himalayas in pursuit of perhaps the most elusive freshwater fly fishing species on earth: the Golden Mahseer.
Yellow Dog Founder Jim Klug, angling legend Jeff Currier, and renowned videographer Chris Patterson take us along this adventure through the Himalayan backcountry with a full crew to navigate the expansive and at times treacherous waters of Bhutan. They are joined by the founder of Himalayan Flyfishing Adventures Bryant Dunn, current IGFA golden mahseer record holder Bobby Satpal, and highly experienced mahseer guide Jigme Tsuendrup. They navigate class-5 rapids, take in the Bhutanese culture, and fish hard for both golden and chocolate mahseer.”
