Reviews come in all shapes and sizes. Many are simply regurgitations of material pulled from the web, while others are supplied directly by clients or written by staff members with the carrot of advertising revenue looming in the background. These promotional pieces, while sometimes useful, lack the independence that readers truly value.
Then there’s the REAL REVIEW, where a writer offers their candid opinion. It’s important to remember that this represents just one person’s perspective, not necessarily the official stance of Adventure Magazine. But that’s precisely what makes it valuable: it’s a REAL REVIEW, unfiltered and authentic.

Out of the box the new season activewear from Lorna Jane looked and felt great. The designs and colour ways were on trend: truffle and dark ruby, both great seasonal colours for winter, and the fabric felt really soft to the touch.
They arrived just in time for our trip to Alaska, and all became staples for the next month. I have not owned any Lorna Jane gear before, so I didn’t have any previous product to compare it to; I was a Lorna Jane virgin. I am 163cm tall and usually wear clothing between sizes 8 and 10, and I ordered everything in a size small. Looking back now at the Lorna Jane sizing charts, I probably should have ordered everything in a XS, but see below for how each one fitted.
The Lorna Jane Limited Edition lotus Crop Sports Bra
RRP $85.00
This is super comfortable to wear and has lots of support. Made from their sweat wicking “Nothing 2 See Here™” fabric, it has removable padding for anyone who doesn’t want (or need) the extra thickness or support. It looked great with its intricate strappy back design, but what made this a real winner was the comfort. The thick elasticated hem kept it firmly in place and the lightly brushed soft fabric felt great. Can thoroughly recommend. (Also available in Pale Violet colour way) Size small was the perfect fit.
