Black crows, the iconic French ski brand focused on design-driven high performance ski products and apparel, just released Wavy, a film featuring local blackcrows’ athlete Nikolai Schirmer and Canadian Celeste Pomerantz skiing arctic conditions on the northern Norwegian island of Svalbard. The film showcases their quest for powder and glory and tells the tale of what happens on an epic trip full of adventure, wild animals, human interactions and gnarly couloirs.

Svalbard is the Norwegian island known for challenging terrain, tricky conditions, complex weather and cheeky polar bears. Local blackcrows’ athlete Nikolai Schirmer and Canadian rookie, Celeste Pomerantz sailed away to Svalbard on a quest for adventure, powder and fun. The result of their trip was Wavy 2, a powerful tale of skiing and nature, crazy couloirs, windswept faces that tumble all the way to the ocean, and all the endeavors of a boat trip to the far sides of the snow world.
